The Face Behind It
Owner & Founder, Canaan & Co
I grew up in Delano, Minnesota, and studied Business Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Bethel University. After graduating, I took the leap into the three trades that had already shaped who I am — building, hosting, and coaching — and turned them into Canaan & Co.
I built this company on a simple conviction: love people well, and serve them even better. Whatever you're working on — a renovation, a wedding, or a season of personal growth — I'd love to be part of it.
The Company
Canaan & Co stands on three things I believe are worth doing well: what we build, how we celebrate, and who we become. Through Canaan Craftsmen, I take on renovations and custom builds with the kind of care I'd want in my own home. Through Canaan Celebrations, I bring handcrafted benches and other items that will add warmth and character to your wedding or event, delivered and set up so your day runs smooth. And through Canaan Coaching, I coach people who are ready to rebuild — their habits, their leadership, their next chapter.
No matter which one brings you here, you can count on the same three things from me: I'll be on time, I won't cut corners, and I'll deal with you honestly the whole way through.
Canaan was the land promised to a people who had every reason to be afraid of it. When the scouts came back from surveying it, most of them saw giants. Two of them — Joshua and Caleb — saw the same giants and said it anyway: we are well able to overcome it.
They weren't just optimists. God had already made them a promise, and He'd already proven He keeps His word. Joshua and Caleb didn't say it because the giants looked small — they said it because they knew who had gone ahead of them.
That's the spirit behind this name. Not a promise that the work is easy, but a conviction that it's worth going up for — because we know who is with us.
